TRM TUFFOAL contains Kaolinitic Clays and Pectin for the maintenance of gut motility, Fructo oligosaccharides to stimulate beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal system, and electrolytes.

KAOLININITIC CLAY

Will work to slow down gut motility and binds with water. A study by PIESZKA et al, concluded that feeding foals maintained on different stud farms with a kaolin paste reduced the duration of abnormal gut motility.

FRUCTO-OLIGOSACCHARIDES (FOS)

High levels of FOS (8g/dose) can increase the population of ‘good’ bacteria in the colon while by competitive exclusion reduce the number of harmful bacteria.

PECTIN

A dietary fibre and energy source for cells in the gastrointestinal wall. Stimulates water and colonic sodium retention – important in helping to produce normal stools.

SODIUM CHLORIDE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, MAGNESIUM SULPHATE

Replaces essential electrolytes lost for quicker recovery.

GLYCINE

An amino acid that is a precursor of powerful antioxidants (creatine, porphyrins, glutathione) as well as having the ability to increase electrolyte absorption for rapid results.

NEW INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER USE:

Pour the required amount into the measuring cup supplied with the container, fill into a clean dosing syringe and either add to the normal feed ration, or feed directly to the horse. Foals and Weanlings: 40ml. twice daily. - Adult Horses: 60ml. twice daily.
